i heart harold

harold!!! i can't believe i saw you tonight while waiting for the train....of course i purposely positioned myself so i would be right near you after we both got on. as the stops went by, i took a deep breath and said "now or never." wow, you are just as likeable in person and such a gentleman. i couldn't believe how gracious you were, even though it was 1am and the last thing you probably wanted to do after a full day in the kitchen was to talk to an obnoxious fan. i liked how you wouldn't badmouth any of your fellow top chef contestants even though that would have been so easy to do. and then you turned the conversation to me. when i mentioned how i felt about my job and you asked wanted what i really wanted to do, i liked how you said, "what's stopping you?" i felt so lame saying, "i'm unmotivated and lazy." lame lame lame. i should learn from you. your focus and passion for food showed so clearly, and it was such a treat to see that up close. i'm sooooo stopping by your restaurant as soon as i can!!! wait, i hope it's not too expensive....?
