coworker 1: this weekend went by so fast!
coworker 2: i know, i feel like friday was yesterday. i wish the weekend had one extra day.
stranger/coworker(?): you know, we spend our whole lives working 5 days a week and looking forward to 2 days.
coworker 2: i'm depressed.
me: (too sleepy to talk. early retirement, people, early retirement.)

umm...retirement, even "early" retirement won't come for a long time miss mary. maybe you should listen to loverboy Harold and find out what you really want to do...and do it! i know it's easier than it sounds, but it's better than having awful elevator rides every freaking monday. i like your blogs. :)
i'm trying! although i do love the idea of early retirement. that and being a cowgirl in montana.
honestly i don't think there's any job that someone can absolutely love. Unless you're a celebrity, an actress, or have enough clout to only do exactly what you want every day (and don't have to take orders from anybody). sigh. but hang in there.
