coffee hour

while i was at home in LA this week, i met up with my former piano teacher for coffee. we were chatting away when her friend came by..."oh, is this your former student visiting from japan?"....hmmm, i guess i haven't quite managed to pull off the "hip, stylish new yorker" look just yet.
