two week ban/plan

i'm on an anti-junk food/eat healthy plan, which started close to the two week countdown of the big event of the year...melford's wedding.

my self-imposed ban is on the following foods: ice cream, chocolate, cookies, chips, beer (which together, probably constitute about 20-30% of my diet).

but i am allowed to have: one order of french fries, a slice of pizza, unlimited quantities of red wine.

so far i'd say it's going well, except for some hard lessons learned.
side effects may include: dreaming about food, obsessively thinking about food, eyeing other people's food.

what i've denied myself so far: cappuccino brownies with cream cheese frosting (tues), cake (wed), pizza (fri--i'm counting it in advance).
instead today i ate: banana, apple, orange (among other stuff that wasn't junk).

somebody give me a medal or something.

Just got girlscout cookies today. Thin mints and cafe cookies. I'll bring them with me next weekend so we can pig out after the wedding....if they're not in my stomach.
