weekend report

valentine's weekend is usually just a flimsy excuse to drink lots of wine with my single girlfriends. this year, i went to visit friends in d.c. (and made sure that they didn't have any special plans beforehand). we went to eat mussels and drink belgium beer for 3 hours, and the next morning, i "helped" with wedding registry stuff. it was me and a million couples, but i loved it. i went kind of wild...i got to scan all this awesome kitchenware and pretend it was mine. i think carrie had the right idea when she had her single "i'm getting married to myself" registry. at least for me, if i'm not married by ____(insert year), i'm gonna splurge on all the fancy gadgets and stainless steel, lust-inducing novelties that i find.
