i called up a friend recently and got this voicemail:

i am making drastic changes in my life.

if you don't hear from me, you are one of them.

if you want, you can leave a message

and i will decide what to do with it.

i wasn't too sure if i would be hearing from him...so it was a relief when he returned my call.
